オレは定期的にクリーニングをしている。
画像のように、センサ類を取り外して洗浄する。
床に置いてある水色の物が、センサだ。
左側の物は「臭い」を感知している。
右側の２つは「埃」を感知する。本体左右に装着されているんだ。
導通させて稼働しているから、どうしても汚れる。
故に、簡単に取り外して洗浄できるように作られている。
右側の「埃」を感知するセンサ。カバーを開くと、中に0.5ミリ以下の
金属線が2本張られている。本当に細い。手荒な扱いはできない。
画像左のネットが見える方にあるのだが、判るだろうか。
これらは毛足が長く少し固めの刷毛を使用して、丁寧に洗浄する。
もし切断してしまったら、部品代は高くつきそうだ。
この空気清浄器は、２４時間３６５日稼働させてある。
勿論、メンテナンスの時は止める。
というか、カバーを外したら自動的に停止するのだが。
（感電防止も兼ねているのだと思われる）
本体中央にはネットが取り付けられているから、それも洗浄する。
その奥に紙製のフィルタがある。こちらは洗浄不可。
６年も使用しているのだから、相応に変色している。
外して掃除機で細かい埃は吸引させているが。
１年前、フィルタを交換した方が良いのでは？と思い、値段を確認すべく
メーカーへ連絡してみた。
サービスマニュアルには、１０年交換不要と記載されていたのだが
２４時間３６５日稼働しているのだから、流石にダメだろうと思った。
値段は￥5,000円程だっただろうか。やはり高価だ。ところが…
「私共の製品は、２４時間３６５日作動させるのを前提にしております。
交換は１０年で問題ありません。ご安心ください」と話してくれた。
これには驚いたよ。以前使用していた空気清浄器は２年足らずで壊れたから。
あ、違う電気メーカーだよ。念のため。
対応してくれたサービス担当の男性。彼の言葉には自社製品に対する
自信とプライドが感じられた。説明も極めて丁寧だったよ。
これがメーカーとしての誇りだろう。姿勢に強い感銘を受けた。
ご存知の方もみえると思うが、DAIKIN 製のエアコンや空気清浄器は高価。
だがね、中を調べてみると何故そうなのかが納得できる。
よく出来ているし、ユーザー目線での設計がなされている。
以前使っていた（壊れた物）とは、えらい違いだ。
因みに、オレが持っている電化製品は、殆どが同じメーカー。
他の物は、問題なく使用している。
日本の法律は、補修部品の保管を生産終了後７年と決められている。
１０年使うって事は、それを経過しても部品を保管している事を意味する。
これは補修部品ではなく、消耗部品だけかもしれないが。
それにしてもだな、長いスパンで自社の製品を使用してくれるユーザーに対し
細やかな配慮をするという気持ちの表れだ。
これって、現在の企業であまり見られない事じゃないかな。
６年使用し続けてトラブルを起こした事は１度もない。
不便さを感じた事もない。ただ、時折「この匂いに反応するのか？」
と驚く事はある。アルコール系には敏感だな。
例えば…除菌クリーナーとか、空間消臭スプレーとか。
料理の匂いには、あまり反応しないかな。
オレは自分が物作りに長年携わってきた人間だ。
作り手の考えは、ある程度読める。それを選別の判断基準にする。
これは電化製品だけじゃない。車だってそうだ。
国産車とは比べようのない歴史とノウハウを感じた。
スピードメーターが 320km/h 表示なのは、伊達じゃない。
