あれま…。走行中に飛んでったか。
天候も回復したんで、20キロ程の距離をテストドライブしてきた。
ついでにパーツクリーナーを2つ購入してきた。メンテもしたいんでさ。
多少焦げ臭かったのは内緒だ。途中から全開で走らせたからな。（笑）
さて、その結果だが…。
クラッチが使用限界レベルだと判明。予想以上だった。
Super-CUB は遠心式クラッチを採用している。
クラッチレバーも無いし、自分で意図的に切る事もできない。
その代わり、エンジンの回転さえ下げればシフトチェンジが可能。
これは HONDA の拘り。利便性と操作性を上げている。
反面、使用条件が悪いとクラッチディスクへの負担が増える。
極端な事言えば、3速のままでスタートする事も可能なんだ。
要は、半クラッチのまま動かす状態。当然ディスクの摩耗は激しくなる。
つまり…そういう運転する人が使用していたという事だ。
オレがレンタルした人物も譲渡してもらったまま、殆ど使用してない。
元のオーナーは、そういう人だったんだろう。
他にも1点。
ある程度の速度域になると、縦方向の振動が発生する。
激しくはないのだが、オレの感覚では危険レベル。
少なくとも、全速走行で走らせる事は無謀だな。
帰宅してから、クリーニング作業を兼ねて振動の原因を探る。
右側のリアショックが曲がっていた。
（画像でも曲がっているのが判るだろう）
最初から気付いてたが、外してみたら想像以上に変形している。
これが原因かどうかは判断できない。リアタイヤも経年劣化している。
まぁ…普通はこんな状態が一般的なのかもしれないな。
元々は明らかに野ざらしで置かれていた車両だし。
ただ、エンジンは調子良い。
よく回るし、気になるような異音も聞こえない。
更に良くする為、意図的に高回転を使う。速度を出すという意味ではない。
ただ…クラッチが心配。それに耐えられないかもな。
明日は休刊日だ。もう少し走らせて様子を見てみる。
テストドライブとはいえ、単車走らせたり、メンテするのは楽しい。
連日耳鳴り酷くて、耳鼻咽喉科へ行こうと考えてたくらいだが
こういう楽しい時間は、全然気にならない。
オレは「壊れて動かない」「調子が悪くて本領発揮できない」
こういう機械を直すの大好きなんだ。
自分自身も直せるといいのにな。

It turns out that the clutch is at the usage limit level. It was more than I expected.
The Super-CUB uses a centrifugal clutch.
There is no clutch lever, and I can't intentionally disengage it myself.
Instead, you can change the shift by lowering the engine speed.
This is HONDA's commitment. It improves convenience and operability.
On the other hand, if the usage conditions are bad, the burden on the clutch disc will increase.
At the extreme, it's possible to start in 3rd gear.
This is the state of moving with the half-clutch. Naturally, the disc wears severely.
It means that people with that kind of driving style used it.
This motorcycle was used by another person.
The person I rented is not running.
I got it from the original owner and left it in the barn.
The person may have used the motorcycle in an incorrect way.
Another one point.
In a certain speed range, vertical vibration occurs.
It's not intense, but in my experience it's a dangerous level.
At least it's reckless to run at full speed.

The rear shock on the right side was bent.

I noticed it from the beginning, but when I removed it, it was deformed more than I imagined.

Originally it was a vehicle parked outdoors.
