オレはさ、何かの途中にトラブるのが物凄く嫌なんだ。
それは作業だけに限らない。旅行先で発生しても同じ。
部屋にいても同じ。自身が立てた予定を狂わす要因は限りなくゼロにしたい。
バイクに関してもそうだ。普段自分でやれるメンテナンスは行っている。
途中で立ち往生なんて、想像するだけで嫌になる。
残念な事に…この日は、それが最悪の形で現実になってしまった。
新聞は数軒配達しただけで、残りは沢山ある。しかも大雨。
エンジンの再始動を試みたが、その気配は全くない。
機械的なものではない。燃料が供給されていないか、点火系のトラブル。
ならば、直ぐ対応するのは無理。バイクを押してアパートへ戻った。
近所の店へ買い出しに行くのに使ってる自転車に新聞積み替え再出発。
いつもより1時間遅れになったが、何とか終えた。

オレは2時半の起床で、3時前に配達へ出掛ける。
