9時半頃に、アパート近くの場所で受け取った。
テストドライブをしたかったが、ご覧の通り雨天なんで断念した。
エンジンは簡単に始動する。まぁ、これが普通なんだが…。
Super-CUB は、タフなのが売りなんだ。
他にも細かな修理もしてくれて、運用にはまったく問題無い。
こういう配慮がプロの仕事。依頼された事しかできないのは、素人だ。
オレは拘る性格だから、あれこれ直したくなるのだが
あくまでレンタルしてるものだし、予算も無いからやらない。
肝心なオレのバイクを復活させねばならないし。
バイク屋のオジサンと少し話し込んで、どうやって直すか？
原因を特定する方法を模索していた。
なにせ電装品。それなりの知識がなければ、対応できない。
新品部品も入手できない。代用可能な品物を探す必要がある。
容易な作業ではないが、オレも協力して早く直したい。

何気なく他の動画も視ていたんだ。
オレが彼らを魅力的だと感じるのは、演奏だけではない。
エンターテイナーとして観客や視聴者を喜ばせるのもそうだ。
前途しているように、オレに英語の読解力はゼロに近い。
それ故彼らが楽しそうに話している内容を理解できないんだよ。
だがね、何となくは伝わってくる。

昨今、欧米…特にアメリカで発生している人種差別が原因の事件。
アフリカ系の人たちに対する差別は、未だに奴隷認識があるのだろう。
差別は非難されるべき行為だが、それを受け入れない人間は存在する。
有色人種は下等生物だと、今なお考えているようだな。
オレら日本人も有色人種だ。かつては “東洋の黄色いサル” と言われた。
今でもアジア系の人たちをそう呼んでいるのかもしれないな。
彼らは、そんなに優秀なのか？世界を席巻するような人間なのか？
オレに言わせれば、人種差別している時点でそんな資格は無いと思うが。
プロバスケットボールの選手はアフリカ系の人が多いよな。
100メートル走競技で世界記録を持つ人も。
彼らは下等生物なんだろうか？オレらもそうだな。有色だから。
極めて残念な思想だ。そういうイメージを持たせた人間も。
多様な思想や文化があるのは当然だろう。
それを否定するのは国家そのものを否定するのと同じ。
愛国心の強い彼らが、何故差別という低次元な事に執着するのだろうか？
皆アメリカ人だろ。肌の色が違っても同じ言語で話をしてるじゃないか。
寛大で包容力の強い人が多い国アメリカ。これはオレの幻想なのか？
政治の話はしたくないが、国の代表自ら差別発言しているようでは
国民の信頼は得られまい。他の国から民度を問われる。
オレは…歴代の中で現職が1番嫌いだ。親子は、その次だな。
所詮は日本人の戯言だが。アメリカの人から見れば、外国人だからね。
日向があれば、日陰もまた存在する。これは変えられない。
だがね、日向のスペースを増やす事は可能だ。
そういう努力を放棄している国が、今後発展していくとは思えない。
全員とは言わないし言えない。だが、可能な限り仲良くしよう。
これに人種も国籍も関係ない。そんな事に執着するから、差別するんだ。
日本人の多くが隣国に嫌悪感を持ってる。ある意味当然だ。
だが、オレは彼ら全員が反日感情持っているとは考えない。
そういう人たちとは、仲良くしていきたいと思うよ。
日本人同士でも仲違いしてるんだ。簡単ではないけどね。
トラブルを放置したら、永遠に直らない。
関係を放置したら、悪化するだけ。
解決するには、場所も時間も確保が必要。
大きな問題も、糸口掴めば解決への道は拓ける。
オレはそういう考えで今を生きている。
