ネットゲームって、24時間365日稼働してるんだよな。よく知らないが。
そんな主人公が過労で意識を失うところから物語は始まる。

彼は自分が担当していないゲームの世界で意識を取り戻す。
ここまでは、よくありがちな展開。
彼はその世界でも同じ職業（GM）に就いていた。
しかもあり得ない能力を纏って。無双するヒーローキャラのように。
だが、あくまで問題を解決する役割。

メインキャストは、主人公に女性が3人と少年が1人。
どこの国に住む人か想像もつかない名前の人物ばかりなんだが、やたら長い。
英語？フランス語？ドイツ語？全部当てはまらないが、カタカナ読みではある。
業務上（彼の役目）はフルネームを記憶するのだが、素の彼は物覚えが悪い。
というか、覚える気もなさそうだ。で、勝手に付けた名前で呼んでいる。
かなり強引なネーミングなんだが、何故か違和感がない。

All the people have names that I can't imagine which country they live in, but they have long surnames.
English? French? German? It doesn't fit, but it's not a Japanese name.
In business (his role), he remembers the other person's full name, but he usually has poor memory.
Or rather, he doesn't seem to remember. Therefore, he calls the other party by the name he freely gives.
The naming is quite aggressive, but for some reason it doesn't feel strange.
彼が最初に暴漢から救った女性は「カクちゃん」と呼ばれるようになった。
次は「ハチべー」と呼ばれた少年。それから「スケちゃん」に「お銀」。
お銀は王女様だし、スケちゃんは彼女を護衛する近衛騎士団の一員。
凄まじく常軌を逸した設定だろ？無茶苦茶な世界なんだよ。
因みに彼の名前は、水戸君と言うんだ。…もうお判りかな。（笑）
彼らは全員が GM のメンバーとして行動を共にする事になる。
そう認識しているのは水戸君だけなんだが。

描かれている風景はヨーロッパの佇まいなんだ。そこに縮緬問屋とは…。
物語の展開は、水戸黄門のそれと同じ。
悪代官と結託する私利私欲にまみれた店の主。
まさに、こんな感じだ。↓

そこで水戸君と仲間のメンバーが水戸黄門の如く大活躍。
ゲームのようなシチュエイションでモンスターが出てきたり、魔法を使う攻撃したり。
モンスターと戦っていて「当たらなければ、どうという事は無い」なんて名台詞も。
もうね、何もかも混ざっている。印籠は流石に出てこなかったが。
物語の終盤には、名物（？）の入浴シーンも描かれていたり。
終始笑いっぱなしの物語だったよ。

オレが読んでいるサイトに投稿されているこれらの物語。
作者は素人さんだと思う。それ故か、似たような作品が多い。
エロいネタを沢山入れて注目させようとしているものもある。
読み手専門のオレには把握しきれないが、熾烈な競争が繰り返されているのだろう。
作者の中にプロになりたいと思っている人が少なくないのは想像できる。

物語の魅力はそれぞれだ。そこにプロと素人の境界線は無いだろう。
単に異色というだけではなく、観念に囚われない自由な発想と、それを生かす表現力は求められる。
