A miserable figure.

This blog also has an English translation.

I am using the translation function, but I am editing based on the text.

It's still hard to read, but if you are interested, please read it.

I think every time, but it is difficult to translate Japanese into English and express my feelings.

I'm confused by the difference in grammar.

This is a lantern-shaped lighting fixture.

I bought a second-hand item for ¥ 500 and used it for many years.

However, as you can see, the shoji was torn due to deterioration over time and became unusable.

Because I have this personality, I don't throw things away easily.

He wasn't confident in replacing the shoji, but decided to give it a try.

The result ... it's extremely difficult. I realized that sticking paper on a sphere requires skill.

If all the old shoji were peeled off, they would fall apart, so he proceeded with the work little by little.

Already, I was frustrated many times on the way. After all, I left it for more than half a year.

Yesterday I finally made it into a shape and made it usable, but it looks miserable.

Take it to the Japanese-style room, which is also a bedroom, and turn on the lights ...

* A giant robot that appears in the robot anime "Mobile Suit Gundam".

The name is called "Big Zam".

This was the first image that came to my mind.

You can imagine how terrible it is. I can't post images.

Originally it was round. deplorable. It has become such a terrible figure.

It can be used as a tool, and there is no problem with the color and brightness of the lighting.

I will fix anything that I can fix myself.

If it is technically difficult or you need tools.

Give up when the cost exceeds the value or when the parts are missing and cannot be fixed.

The criterion for that "value" is within me.

It's okay if I like something that people around me say "such a thing".

This lantern has no monetary value, but I like it.

It looks like Big Zam, but I'll use it.

But I won't do this again. Next time I will leave it to an expert.
