Customs.

This blog also has an English translation.

I am using the translation function, but I am editing based on the text.

It's still hard to read, but if you are interested, please read it.

I think every time, but it is difficult to translate Japanese into English and express my feelings.

I'm confused by the difference in grammar.

Recently ... It's fun to ride a CUB for newspaper delivery.

It's borrowed and not my own, but the engine that gets better little by little is comfortable, and I have made minor specification changes (lever and shift pedal positions, etc.) to suit my riding.

Being able to adapt to the condition of the vehicle may make me feel that way.

It was cold this morning as well. The moon and stars were beautiful in fine weather.

Still, it's fun to ride.

The remaining deliveries are 3 houses, and an animal is found on the road on the way to that place.

Instantly avoid and clear safely.

It was a raccoon dog! (Because it's the countryside)

I'm glad I didn't run over.

Let's get into the main subject.

This dingy hat was a souvenir when my junior went on a business trip to the United States about five years ago.

He bought me many books on the luxury liner Titanic for me.

At the bookstore, the shopkeeper asked, "Do you like this ship?" And the junior answered, "I love my acquaintances."

The junior told me that the shopkeeper treated me with a smile.

And this hat. I lost it on Monday.

I noticed it yesterday.

Every Tuesday is the day to go shopping for food. Because there is a 5% discount.

When I try to go out, I don't have a hat! I can't find it even if I look for it in the room.

I searched around until I came to the conclusion that I lost it.

I wore it on Monday. I was out in the CUB, so I kept it in my pocket while driving.

If you drop it outside, somewhere from the last place you hat it on until you return to your apartment.

I wore a different hat and went shopping while exploring by bicycle.

However!

My hat is placed on the fence of a private house. To stand out.

I instantly knew "It's me!" I was so happy.

It was wet (it rained yesterday), but I'm back.

I've seen several videos of foreigners saying, "Even if you drop something in Japan, you can usually find it."

It's placed prominently, like my hat.

Make it easier for the person who dropped it to find it.

What I dropped was a dirty hat. No one would think of taking it.

However, the act of putting it prominently is normal.

If you stay on the road, your car will step on you or get dirty.

Above all, consideration is given so that the person who is looking for can find it quickly.

I have done such an act several times.

Even if it's worthless to me, it may be important to the person who dropped it.

It is a rule to report expensive items or items that can be identified by an individual to the police for storage.

I don't think this is a hassle. If the person who dropped it is pleased, that's fine.

This time, that was the opposite position.

Actions that are usually taken without thinking deeply. I thought again that it was an action that pleased strangers.

I am happy that I have acquired such a custom.

Even if you leave it alone, there is also the humanity that unrelated people will not take it away.

If it's a hat, it's easier to understand if you put it in the place where you picked it up rather than reporting it to the police. Immediately after, there is a high possibility that the person who dropped it will return.

In my case, I didn't notice it for a day.

I had multiple errands on Monday, and there were some things I had to deal with in a hurry, so I wasn't aware of the hat.

I drop it when I'm in a hurry ...

I haven't given up on the ashtray yet. I've been using it for over 15 years.

It's only an empty can, but there isn't one with the same shape now.

But ... I don't think I can find it. I searched around a lot.

I have to be happy just to find a hat.

It is extremely rare for me to feel saved by my habits.

It was a good experience in a way.

It is difficult to translate Japanese into English.
It is easy to understand that foreigners have a hard time.
