昨日、来月の配達先を記した明細を受け取った。
軒数が50％増。驚いたな。こんなん初めてだ。
毎月多少の増減はあったが、今回は異例。
恒例の配達先と順路を記した名簿を作成をしたのだが
自宅の場所を調べて配達ルートも大幅に変更。
これはグーグルマップを最大限活用してチェック。
問題は、各家庭のポストの位置。これだけは現地へ行かないと判らない。
明日午前中にルートの確認と併せて現地へ下見。
夜中の方が良いのだが、流石に不審者扱いされそうでさ。
（景色が変わると記憶が曖昧になるから、夜間の方が良い）
それに、その家で間違いないのかを知る必要もある。
最近は表札を出していない家が殆どだ。誤配は避けたい。
これら一連の作業を当日やると、間違いなくパニックになる。
故に、事前に下見しておく。昼間確認して、更に配達時間にも廻る。
たかが新聞配達だと思うだろう。だが、これも重要な作業なんだ。
頭の中で何度もシュミレーションして、補正をして。実走する。
こういうのがトラブルや事故のリスクを下げる。
配達ルートの何処にマンホールの蓋やグレーチングが敷設されているかも
記憶している。これらは雨天時のスリップを回避するため。
道路に段差がある所、位置によっては停めた CUB が転倒する場所も。
それら全部を把握しておかないと、迅速で安全な配達は難しい。
オレは総べてを問題なく済ませるのがプロの仕事だと思っている。
それでも何らかのトラブルはあるし、ミスもする。
これをリカバリできるかどうかも重要だと思うんだよ。
配達する月曜から水曜は、お客さんが普通に新聞を受け取れる
ようにするのが、自分の責務だ。
まぁ、こうやって自分の精神を追い込んでしまうんだよ。良くも悪くも…。
完璧主義者ではないが、責任感は有る方だと思う。
段々寒さも厳しくなっていく。体調管理も気をつけないとな。
